| Welcome to GW Goalkeeping Schools GW Goalkeeping Schools was founded in 2000 by goalkeeping coach Geoff Warne, who wanted to offer children from grass roots to advanced level the chance to learn more about this position and to have an enthusiasm to go on and improve. The courses are really just to give a young goalkeeper the chance to be coached professionally and in a safe and friendly environment. Ages range from 6yrs through to 14yrs and offer young goalkeepers the chance to really progress with their goalkeeping. "There's nothing better than seeing a young goalkeeper in goal really enjoying himself but no one to turn to to correct themselves if any mistakes occur. It is normally the outfield players who get the chance to learn with the goalkeeper joining in during team play. This gave me a hunger to set up this school and to give goalkeepers that chance to learn, improve and excel regardless of ability levels".
